Champvraie Origin

During the Napoleonic War, a french soldier called Champvraie was captured as a POW and held in Penicuik, Midlothian. After the war he was released and opt'd to stay in here in Scotland. A nice reminder that for centuries, people have seen the beauty here and wanted to settle to make it their home.
